In 1991, Chris Madain made a trip to the Coachella Valley that would change his life. At the time, he was a rising alarm sales consultant based in San Diego. But one visit to the desert for a routine sales call sparked something deeper: a genuine connection with the community, its people, and its potential.

Rather than return to San Diego, Chris chose to stay. With nothing more than determination, a deep respect for his customers, and a vision to protect the homes and businesses of this unique region, he laid the foundation for what would become Desert Alarm.

Chris built the company from the ground up personally handling sales, service calls, billing, and marketing. His grit and work ethic shaped the values that still define us today: trust, integrity, and responsiveness.

When the 2009 economic crash tested businesses across the country, Desert Alarm stood firm. Chris’s resilience and dedication to his clients helped the company survive and even grow stronger during some of the toughest times.

Today, Desert Alarm remains a family-driven company, with Chris still at the helm. A devoted father of three, he brings the same energy and passion into his business as he does to his family life. His story is a reminder that true success is rooted in community, service, and perseverance.
