Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Desert Alarm Inc. Website has been evaluated by our own organization and the developer of our website and has been found to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard, although effort has been taken to ensure:
- Semantic HTML is appropriately used to designate clear page structure including headings, navigation landmarks, lists, quotes, emphasized text, headers and footers, etc.

- ARIA is used appropriately to enhance accessibility when HTML is not sufficient.
- The reading and navigation order is logical and intuitive
- Non-text content has appropriate text alternatives
- Links generally contain descriptive text
